Island De-Lites
Strawberry Daiquiri
 1½ oz.
Bacardi Superior
4 oz.
Island De-Lites Strawberry
Daiquiri Mix
Place the liquid ingredients in a blender. Fill a 12 oz. cocktail glass
with ice just to the top and then add the ice to the blender.[This
trick works every time when making a frozen drink. It turns
out perfect each time]. Rim the glass
with
Strawberry Blonde
Cocktail Candy.
Blend until smooth and pour into the glass. We prefer the
Classic Hurricane Glass. Then garnish with a lime
wheel and a strawberry.
Variations: Flavored Rums have
become all the rage. We have our favorites so here are some
suggestions. One fruitier variation is to reduce
the Superior to
3/4 oz. and then add 3/4 oz. of
Bacardi Razz. For
a real taste bud treat reduce the
Superior to 1/2 oz.
and then add 1/2 oz. each of Barcardi Razz and
Bacardi O.
The orange brings out a lot more of all of the flavors in the
mix. Garnish this
one with a couple fresh raspberries and an orange wheel and
watch your guests go wild.
Dover Beach Daiquiri
2 oz. Malibu
Coconut
4 oz. Island
De-Lites Strawberry Daiquiri Mix
Place ingredients in a blender.
Fill a 12 oz. cocktail glass with ice just to the top and add
to the blender. Rim the glass with Strawberry Blonde
Cocktail Candy. Blend until
smooth and pour into glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and a
strawberry!
Morgans
Strawberry Daiquiri
1 ½ oz. Captain
Morgans Silver Spiced Rum
4 oz. Island
De-Lites Strawberry Daiquiri Mix
Place ingredients in a blender.
Fill a 12 oz. cocktail glass with ice just to the top and add
to the blender. Rim the glass with Strawberry Blonde
Cocktail Candy.
Blend until smooth and pour into glass. Garnish with a lime
wheel and a strawberry.
Puertorican Magic Daiquiri
3/4 oz.
Bacardi Raz
3/4 oz. Bacardi O
4 oz. Island
De-Lites Strawberry Daiquiri Mix
Place ingredients in a blender.
Fill a 12 oz. cocktail glass with ice just to the top and add
to the blender. Rim the glass with Strawberry Blonde
Cocktail Candy. Blend until
smooth and pour into glass. Garnish with a orange wheel and a
few Rasberries! Yummy!
Barbadoan Bliss
3/4 oz.
Mount Gay Rum
3/4 oz. Float of Mount Gay Extra Old
4 oz. Island
De-Lites Strawberry Daiquiri Mix
Place ingredients in a blender.
Fill a 12 oz. cocktail glass with ice just to the top and add
to the blender. Rim the glass with Strawberry Blonde
Cocktail Candy. Blend until
smooth and pour into glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and a
hard rock candy stick! Wow!
Cocktail Trivia
Strawberries are a member of the rose family. They are
indigenous to both Old & New Worlds. Wild strawberries are
small and fine-flavoured, with an intensely musky scent.
Strawberries are delicate and do not keep much longer than 48
hours. You can do pretty much whatever you like with
strawberries. As a garnish they can be sliced several times
from the bottom up and fanned or with a single slice from the
bottom up and placed on the rim of the glass.
