Pina Colada
1½ oz. Bacardi
Coco
½ oz. Bacardi
Anejo
4 oz.
Island De-Lites Pina Colada
Mix
Place the Barcardi Coco and Pina Colada Mix in a blender.
Fill 12 oz. cocktail glass with ice just to the top and then add
the ice to the blender. [This
trick works every time when making a frozen drink. It turns
out perfect each time]. Rim the glass with
Pineapple Princess
Cocktail Candy.
Blend until smooth and pour into glass. Float the Bacardi
Anejo. Garnish with a
pineapple triangle.
Variations: Again, we look to the flavored
rums for some delicious coladas.
However, let us not forget the Chi-Chi, basically a Pina
Colada made with vodka! You can literally let your
imagine run wild with this versatile cocktail mix. Try
replacing the rums with Van Gogh
Chocolate Vodka and Godiva
Chocolate Liquor for a delicious Chocolate Chi Chi. You can
rim this one with Chocolate Bar
Cocktail Candy. How about adding 1/2 oz. of Dekuyper
Melon Liquor for a Melon Colada or Dekuyper Banana Liquor for
a Banana Colada. YUM!
Captain's Crazy Colada
2 oz Bailey's Irish Cream
6 oz Hot Chocolate
1 oz. Amaretto DiSaronno
3 oz Captain
Morgan's Parrot Bay Rum
3 oz.
Island De-Lites Pina Colada Mix
Fill a Hurricane glass with ice
and then add that ice to a blender. Make a zig-zag pattern
of chocolate syrup on the inside a Hurricane glass while
turning the glass. Blend all ingredients until all large
chunks of ice are gone. Pour into glass. Top with whipped
cream and a cherry.
Captain’s Private Colada
1 oz. Captain Morgan’s Silver Spiced Rum
¾ oz. Captain
Morgan’s Private Stock
4 oz.
Island De-Lites Pina Colada Mix
Place Captain Morgan’s Silver and
Island De-Lites Pina Colada Mix in a blender. Fill a 12 oz.
cocktail glass with ice just to the top and add to blender.
Rim the glass with Pineapple Princess
Cocktail Candy.
Blend until smooth and pour into glass. Float the Captain
Morgan’s Private Stock. Garnish with a pineapple triangle.
Coral Reef Colada
1 oz. Malibu Coconut
1 oz. Malibu
Pineapple
4 oz.
Island De-Lites Pina Colada Mix
Place Malibu Coconut and Island
De-Lites Pina Colada Mix in a blender. Fill 12 oz. cocktail
glass with ice just to the top and add to blender. Rim the
glass with Pineapple Princess
Cocktail Candy.
Blend until smooth and pour into glass. Float the Malibu
Pineapple. Garnish with a pineapple triangle.
Apple Colada
1 oz.
Fris Apple Vodka
½ oz. Bacardi Apple Rum
3 oz.
Island
De-Lites Pina Colada Mix
Fill a 12 oz. cocktail glass with
ice and place ice in blender. Add vodka and rum and blend all ingredients for 20
seconds. Pour into glass. Garnish with an apple wheel!
Haystack Colada
1 oz. Malibu Coconut
1 oz. Godiva Chocolate Liquor
4 oz.
Island De-Lites Pina Colada Mix
Place Malibu Coconut and Island
De-Lites Pina Colada Mix in a blender. Fill 12 oz. cocktail
glass with ice just to the top and add to blender. Rim the
glass with Pineapple Princess
Cocktail Candy.
Blend until smooth. Pour the Godiva Chocolate Liquor around
the inside of the glass. Pour drink into glass. Garnish with a pineapple triangle.
Cocktail Trivia
Pineapple Garnish: No Pina Colada or truly tropical
cocktail is properly dressed without a wedge of Pineapple,
preferably with a maraschino cherry spiked into it. The the
pineapple into rings and the rings into wedges. Cut a split
into the side of the wedge as this allows you to anchor it to
the rim of the glass
