Being
#2 is never any fun. The Apple Martini is rapidly gaining on the
Cosmopolitan and for good reason. Its delicious! Each Island
De-Lites 2 oz. pouch makes 32oz. ( 1 quart ) of Apple Martini Mix. The best
Apple Martini's we have ever had contained a little Midori Melon
Liquor along with Pucker's Sour Apple Liquor. We made this
flavorful mix keeping that in mind. Our mix has wonderful
Honeydew Melon and Caramel flavors so you will only have to
use your favorite Vodka to make a great martini. Speaking of
Vodka, there has been an explosion of amazing flavored vodkas
such as Hangar 1, Van Gogh, Vox and Three Olives. Using an
Apple or Melon Vodka with our mix will be scary good. No
matter which you choose, our mix will make 8 Apple Martini's
that are each 6 oz.. With only 15
Calories and 2 Net Carbs per serving in our low carb version, you could be thanking

Apple
Martini
The British claim the Martini was named after a late
19th century Firearm of the same name, famous for it's
'kick'. The Martini And Rossi Vermouth Company takes
credit for the original name 'martini'. Flavored
martinis became popular in the late 80's in New York
City. The Waterfront Ale House in Manhattan may have
made the first Appletini using it's own 'Grandma's
Apple Pie Vodka'. An infusion of vodka, apples and
spices `that they age for weeks before using it
their
version of this delicious martini.

Cocktail Trivia
The Bloody Mary: The
Bloody Mary is like the backyard BBQ. Everyone thinks
his or hers is the best. The creation of the Bloody Mary
in Paris is said to have coincided with the arrival of
the first tins of tomato juice from the United States,
right after WWI. Evidently, Frank Meier, head bartender
at the Ritz Bar, had been making a Tomato Juice Cocktail
for years. But his recipe was mixing on fundamental
ingredient: Vodka. At Harry's Bar in Paris, bartender
Ferdinand Petiot made the Bloody Mary with vodka. The
name came into being because of the continued appearance
a the e bar of a woman named Mary, who was regularly
left waiting for her man, nursing one of Pete's tomato
cocktails. A comparison was made between the
imprisonment of Mary, Queen of Scots, and young Mary's
long solitary hours at the bar. John Martin used the
drink to promote a new vodka in the 1960's, Smirnoff
Vodka. This led to an almost exclusive use of vodka in
the drink, and helped to make it the morning after
cocktail! We have found an excellent Bloody Mary
Concentrate that you can mix with your favorite tomato
juice. Here is a link to their website:
