Kiki’s
trip to Jamaica allowed her to discover an exotic fusion of
luscious pineapple & fresh squeezed orange juice with just the
right touch of ripe bananas and blackberries. This is the
drink of choice for people to enjoy while anchoring their
boats in quit little coves though out the Caribbean! Each
pouch makes 32oz. ( 1 quart ) of Rum Runner Mix.
Since rum is the base liquor, there are now an endless variety
of matching flavors you can add to your cocktail.
Players
Extreme Banana Rum is by far our favorite. Another
very good one is
Whalers Banana
Rum.
And since the base flavors of a Rum Runner are Orange and
Pineapple, why not enhance those with
Bacardi O
or Whalers
Pineapple Rum. With only
15 Calories and 2 Net Carbs per serving in our low carb
version, you'll be saying 'No Problem Man'!
Stocking
Your Home Bar
A well stocked bar should offer one great selection from
the 7 categories: Gin, Vodka, Whiskey, Rum, Tequila,
Brandy, and Liquors. These should be the ones you could
drink 'neet', that is without water, ice or mixers.
These should be your personal favorites. After all it is
your home bar! Price doesn't guarantee quality
but in most cases you get what you pay for. Here are
some basic guidlines to follow with regards to
considering your purchase. If you plan on drinking your
liquors straight or with simple mixers such as soda or
tonic, then consider super-premium brands; ie. Bombay
Sapphire Gin, Ultimate Vodka and Bacardi 8 Rum. If you
plan on making 'funtini's' such as Apple Martini's and
Cosmopolitan Cocktails then you certainly can drop down
to premium brands such as Stolichnaya Vodka, Cruzan Rum
and Beefeater Gin. Of all the considerations when buying
Spirits, the most important is style or what you
personally get [ taste perception ]out of each brand. As
expensive as it is to drink in restaurants and bars,
you may want to buy several mini's of each brand you are
considering and test them at home in your favorite
recipes!
